BMW and Bosch have cooperated so that car owners can control Bosch’s smart home devices through Apple CarPlay connection.
Information shows that BMW owners can control their Bosch smart home through the integration of Apple CarPlay and Siri voice assistants while driving. BMW i4 is equipped with BMW's latest operating system, which can activate voice control without pressing the microphone button on the steering wheel.
It is reported that Bosch’s smart home can also be accessed using Android’s Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa. This function can control lights, temperature, check door and window status and alarm system. BMW is paying more and more attention to the digital ecosystem.
