9 On March 25, NIO and Sinopec reached a charging service cooperation agreement. Users can find and use Sinopec’s nationwide charging piles on the NIO App, car and power-up apps.
According to the cooperation agreement, starting from September 25, users can use the Weilai and Ledao App, car and power-up App to realize the functions of inquiry, navigation, startup, payment and other functions of Sinopec charging piles. Users can charge Experience and efficiency will be further upgraded. The cooperation between the two parties will provide more convenience for Weilai and Letao users to recharge their batteries during the National Day holiday.
At present, NIO Energy has established a nationwide charging network and is open to the entire industry for sharing. More than 80% of the electricity is served by non-NIO users. NIO will achieve nationwide charging county coverage by June 30, 2025, so that every county will have a NIO Energy charging pile; it will complete the replacement of 27 provincial-level administrative regions and more than 2,300 county-level administrative regions by the end of 2025. The power stations will be fully covered, and the rest of the provincial administrative regions will be deployed starting from 2026, so that every county will have a power swap station of NIO Energy.
